Technical Tutorial for Animation

How to render in Maya! In this tutorial I will show you the steps I use to render in Maya.

First, click windows, rendering editors, render view.

Then, click the render icon (with blue box around it) This will bring up a picture of what it will look like when it renders out.

After you click the render icon, this is what it will look like. Make sure you have it saved to "Maya Software" before you render.

Then, click file, save image. A box will then pop up to ask where you would like to save it. After that, name your file and make sure to save as a JPEG.

That's it!

My Personality Type!!

Yesterday and today in e-Comm we took the Myers-Briggs personality test. My personality type is ESTP. ESTP stands for extravert, sensing, thinking, and perceiving. I'm 34% extravert, 1% sensing, 3% thinking, and 9% perceiving. I share a personality type with Donald Trump, Ryan Seacrest, and Taylor Swift. ESTP's are energetic and have a good sense of humor. I think this type relates to me because I'm energetic and I talk a lot. ESTP don't like long boring conversations and I don't like long boring conversations. The description of ESTP relates to me and is spot on. My personality types explains why I'm always trying something new and why I'm involved in so many activities. I'm always doing something to keep me entertained. I get bored easily if I'm not doing anything. I like to keep moving. My personality type explains why I like to be loud on the basketball courts and softball fields and at home. My uncle always complains that I'm ...

I watched a video about a brother who saves his little brother from chocking. I liked how the anchors asked simple questions that could be understood by the little boy and I also liked how they had an emergency response worker on the show because that is how the little boy learned how to save someone from chocking. They used a fake baby to demonstrate how to save someone from chocking and I liked that because you could see a visual representation of how the little boy learned it. I think it would've been better if the mom explained a little more about what happened because it was hard to understand what he was saying at some points. I will try and use visual references so that the audience can have a visual idea of what is going on. I will also keep in mind to write my questions to the level of the person I am interviewing (example: if I am interviewing someone younger make my questions simpler, than if someone who is older).

I watched highlights of the Dodgers vs. Astros game and read a recap about the stolen base for a free taco. I like how the reporter added some sense of humor to the article by saying how it was an exciting game for many reasons, the main being the free taco. I also liked the highlights because the reporter was very enthusiastic and kept me interested. I think that the reporter in the article could have added a reason for why the game was so exciting. He said the game last night was exciting for many reasons, but then talked about the free taco instead of giving an example of why the game was so exciting (eg extra innings, multiple home runs). From this I will take away the excitement in the reporters voice and use it when anchor on ONW Now next time and try and use my sense of humor also. Taco Bell Article Game 2 Highlights
