Strengths: I would say my strengths would be working well with others because I worked with Alysa this whole soccer season fliming and editing videos. I also say I would have good project management skills because I post my videos and update my websites on time. I am also responsible because I check back in my equipment and take of the equipment. Weaknesses: I would say my voice overs and my voice in general on camera needs to have more excitement and I should add facial expressions when reading off the teleprompter so I can look more like I want to be there. I also need to work on editing videos with better b-role and transitions. My plan to improve would be to keep up my project management skills, but also to add more enthusiasm to my voice and smile on camera so I look more excited. I also plan to spend more time editing videos so I am not as rushed.
I watched a video about a brother who saves his little brother from chocking. I liked how the anchors asked simple questions that could be understood by the little boy and I also liked how they had an emergency response worker on the show because that is how the little boy learned how to save someone from chocking. They used a fake baby to demonstrate how to save someone from chocking and I liked that because you could see a visual representation of how the little boy learned it. I think it would've been better if the mom explained a little more about what happened because it was hard to understand what he was saying at some points. I will try and use visual references so that the audience can have a visual idea of what is going on. I will also keep in mind to write my questions to the level of the person I am interviewing (example: if I am interviewing someone younger make my questions simpler, than if someone who is older).
